An unprovoked violent attack unleashes fear in the subject and awakens a primal instinct to defend himself. He decides to run the gauntlet and trains as a novice Muay Thai fighter in Thailand, entering the ring to engage in real life combat.

Fight or Flight explores a physical and psychological journey through the art and culture of Muay Thai Boxing. On the course of the journey we see cock fights, an unusual mentally handicapped fight and kids as young as five and six fighting professionally.

During his travels the author spends time with monks at a monastery discussing his experiences and the upsurge of violence in modern society.

This is the story of forgiveness.
